The development of Muslim nation in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The main goal of this article is to show the conditions and circumstances of the formation of Muslim nation in communist Yugoslavia and the increase of its significance during and after the civil war 1992-1995. Furthermore, author presents the characteristics of contemporary nationalism, and distinguishes specific Balkan nationalism, which is often chauvinistic, ahistorical, militant and exclusive, of ethnocultural character. How Islamic are young Muslim people’s poems?

In this article, I investigate poetry written by two young Muslim people during their spare time. Adopting Shahab Ahmed’s (2016) understanding of Islamic in its plenitude and complexity, I ask how Islamic their texts are. The participants, Neda and Mohammed (both pseudonyms), grew up in Islamic countries where they were socialised in faith literacy practices, including practices around sacred and devotional texts, before moving to Norway in their teens. L’intervento mira a una ridefinizione critica della questione legata al rapporto tra cristiani ed ebrei in Sicilia dopo l’espulsione di fine Quattrocento, e intende rimarcare la riattivazione di un interesse per gli ebrei che seguiva il progetto del loro reintegro nei Regni di Napoli e Sicilia da parte di Carlo III (l’editto borbonico, del 1740, era revocato dopo sei anni). Artikkelen belyser unge muslimer og kristnes forhandling av kjønn i migrantmenigheter: 1) Hvordan forhandler unge muslimer og kristne forventningene knyttet til kjønn, forbundet med religiøse klesdrakter og kjønnsdelte arbeidsoppgaver? Og 2), hva kan ungdommenes oppfatninger av religiøse koder og kjønnsdelte arbeidsoppgaver fortelle om symbolsk grensedragning mellom deres tilhørighet til en minoritetsgruppe og tilhørighet til majoritetssamfunnet? Data består av 23 kvalitative intervjuer med tenåringer og unge voksne i alderen 16–35 år.
